"Life is a journey, your journey"
My journey with yoga started in 2006 as a physical exercise, and for a long while it stayed only that, focusing on the asanas (poses). My relationship with yoga was on & off for a long period. After months of abandonment came another bout of consciousness and for some mystical reason I'd restart: like I had a calling for yoga. Just as B.K.S Iyengar said: ‘Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim. The better you practice the brighter the flame’.
In 2011- 2012 my practice became daily and from then on there was no going back, I started to feel the benefits of daily practice on and off the mat. Some days my practice is not physical at all, but more spiritual, chanting mantras, meditating or as simple as breathing and feeling good about that!
To become a teacher had been a long unfulfilled dream, until the stars aligned and I completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered training with Be-Yoga, since then I studied many other yoga related topics (see here). My background is in Psychology, Childcare & Education.
You would often catch me say: "life is a journey, your journey" I love this phrase; we are on this Earth to walk our own path, learning and bettering ourselves is a key point to this.
