Winter reTREAT

With the winter months fast approaching, the winter solstice is upon us, so is the festive season.

I’d like to invite you to this afternoon winter reTREAT where we will work with our breath and body to help slow down, to clear the mind and let go of the idea of ‘perfect’ and the unnecessary pressure we put on ourselves during this time of the year.

Whilst it’s getting colder and our natural instinct would be to slow down we often tend to pick up the pace, we tend to have this great sense of urgency to finish tasks before the year ends; not only that, the seasonal celebrations tend to create more pressure too... rushing around to find the perfect outfit, whilst we are there we search for the perfect gift and we mustn’t forget to put together the perfect menu for Christmas dinner.

But what is perfect? It’s your own perception of an idea that might not have even formed in your head but maybe you saw it on social media and you set off to recreate it; along the way putting more pressure on yourself.

The idea behind this reTREAT is to help you let go, to TREAT yourself to some ‘me time’ by engaging in breath work and a beautifully prepared mindful yoga flow inspired by the fire element to bring you warmth and cleanse the body. To detoxify before the big festive celebrations and to clear away thoughts which no longer serve you.

For the second part of the afternoon we will be joined by the beautifully talented Sarah-Savitri Yoga for some exquisite Kirtan Heartsong - yogic singing of mantras. Your choice to listen or join in with the mantras.

No previous experience is necessary.

During the break we will share some gorgeous nibbles.

Hello Autumn mini retreat

The Autumn Equinox is upon us, the days are shorter and we can certainly feel the early autumn crispness in the air in the mornings. The demanding pace of autumn and change in temperature can often leave us uncertain and frazzled.

This is the perfect time to focus inwards, to ground ourselves, to slow down a little and breathe.

Come and join me on this mini retreat of mindful yoga flow, moving meditation, chanting, sharing some vegetarian food and being together to help you feel revitalised, focused and deeply relaxed.
Ambient lighting and incense will be used.

No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary.
